Sustainable Salmon Arm

Sustainable means forever

This is NOT a smart growth website, because "smart growth" is an oxymoron. This is NOT the CASSSA website, for the same reason. People truly interested in sustainability, population control, and quality of life are invited to join.

A few ideas to consider:

The economy is a means whereby money is extracted from those who can least afford things, and then concentrated in the hands of those who already have more than enough. In the process, our psychotic obsession with the “health” of the economy blinds us to the catastrophic social and environmental consequences. History shows that it is those who can least afford things who will eventually suffer the most.

There are liars, damned liars, and economists.

The last thing this planet needs is more Canadians.

When it comes to humans damaging the environment, it never pains but it roars.

There are those who think that this planet exists for their own personal pleasure and profit, and then there are those who think.

Planning for retirement? Rather than worry about having enough money, you'd be better to worry about having much of a livable planet left at that time.
